Recently, I have been so busy with work that accomplishing any task, whether small or large, has seemed impossible. However, I have had some luck these past couple of weeks! My GM at the theater has cut my hours so I'm now working around 35 instead of 50. Also, he has hired two new supervisors to help pick up the slack. This development has freed up one more night during the week and a weekend day to relax.
As for my nanny job, Steph has found a replacement nanny! The transition has begun, and I will soon be working less with the kids as Bradley comes into their lives. Though this is somewhat sad, I am happy that they didn't wait until the last minute to find someone new. She will be shadowing me a few days this week once I am home from Arizona, and then she may be picking up a few more days a week as we try to make this the smoothest transition possible for the three girls. So far, they seem to like her a lot and have gotten along great with them.
So, with this recent free time I was able to take a mini vacation to visit Em and Drew out here in Tucson, AZ! The weather is not as warm as I had hoped it would be but it is nice here nonetheless. I have enjoyed getting to know Albert and seeing Annabelle again! I have been able to catch up on lost sleep and get a few other things done.
There are still some things in progress such as vet school applications and the job search in Nashville for this coming summer. But things are starting to be on the up and up in my world!
